Teahing practice phase 2

 WEEK 2

 18/07/2022 - 22/07/2022

       Practice teaching is one of the most awaited parts of every pre-service teacher’s journey. It is a life changing opportunity as it gives meaning to all the rigorous academic preparations that one underwent for more than three years.

    This week consist of full exam. unit test started on 18/07/2022. so we had littile more classes. first day i had no class. second day i had exam duty at auditorium, exam duty experience quite different from teaching experience. in invigilation duty we must have patience.

    Third day school celebrated meritorious day for appluading students who got high scores in their public exams. students, teachers ,and  parents, celebrate that day. after morning session ther were ivanio quiz competition for the remembering of mar ivanios. we had the invigilation duty on that time. several schools participated in that competiton. we were the evaluators for that time , first there were 20 mulitiple choice questions for each group. after the time bound 5 group win the first round after that quiz continues. this day i had two classes. i took my classes as per the lesson templates.

    on fourth day i had exam duty so i had no concern period. on fifth day the exam was held on morning session so i had class on afternoon session. so this week i completed my 8 th lesson templates and its works.

Teaching practice phase 2

WEEK1

Second phase teaching practice @ St.JOHNES HS, NALANCHIRA started on 13/07/2022.

          Practice teaching is one of the most awaited parts of every pre-service teacher’s journey. It is a life changing opportunity as it gives meaning to all the rigorous academic preparations that one underwent for more than three years.

      First day I had two hour class on 9 D. Period in the session. st, John's is full of experience in any dimension especially in students dimension. in the very first day i couldn't have made rapport with students. They are very restless. But I got two period and completed my two lesson templates.

      Second day I had two period. Today I made a rapport with students and they obey my instructions. I completed my two lp in that class. My concern teacher Matilda ma'am gave full support. On third day I got one period and completed my fifth lesson templates.

      I divide the class into groups and give names for the group and gave activities related to the topic and not related to the topic. in the three days I followed this strategy. so the class was nice now I have a rapport with the students. so  I enjoyed the teaching practice phase so much. I got many lesson from that students. These days continue.....

EUPHORIA DAY 5

 LAST DAY OF CAMP 

The final day of camp started with news presentation . Then , session by Manoj sir. Sir motivate us through various activities like games, showing inspirational videos, sharing our thoughts etc.

In the afternoonsession we had cleaning task. After that at 2.30 pm we had the form of closing ceremomy of our camp. The messagevwas given by Fr, Mathew and our principle K.Y Bendict sir.our camp magazine " smaranika" revealed by our prinicple.

the camp was an unforgettable experience for everyone.

EUPHORIA DAY 4

 

Today it was all about celebrations and team work. in the morning session all we had cultural programe.and each team showcased their talents.

today programme started at 9.30 am. cultural programme started and ended at a beautiful dance.

Everybody enjoyed this day. Inthe after noon session we had lunch kappa with chammanthi.

At 2.00pm we wre went to BEMART for flashmob aganist ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.Students provided high energy for this performance and convey a good message aganist war.It was a delightful day for us

EUPHORIA DAY 3

 TODAY WAS AN EXCITING DAY FOR US. OUR CAMP ORGANISED ONE DAY TRIP TO TWO DESTINATIONS KUTHIRAMALIKA AND VELI

The words Kuthira Malika means ‘mansion of horses’ and the uninitiated may think that the palace is a grand stable built to house horses. In reality, the building gets the name from the row of horses that are sculpted into the brackets that support the roof. The palace, also known as Puthen Malika Palace, is adjacent to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. It was built by Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma, the ruler of the former Kingdom of Travancore who was a social reformer and poet and musician. It was built in the traditional Kerala style in the 1840s, with pillared verandahs and overhanging eaves.

Second destination was veli

The Veli Tourist Village which lies where the Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea provides for unique boating and picnicking opportunities. Very good picnic spot to spend with family and kids. We went for boating and it was thoroughly and experience to cherish. The scenic views are awesome and and there is a path way to stroll along the water body.
The place is well maintained and there are lots of kids activity and play area.

EUPHORIA DAY 2

 

Second day started with morning news by pavitram.At 10.45 pm we wre given awareness programme about child right commission ,laws, by Reny Antony sir. In the afternoon session carrued over by former student of MTTC, subinspector of kerala police Mr.Vinod Vikramadhithyan sir. The talk was about drug abuse and its consequences, Both the session was very excellent and informative. we enjoyed the second day........

EUPHORIA DAY 1

 

As pat of B.Ed curricuulam our camp officially started today. With a prayer song and a dance the program begun at sharp 9:30 am. our camp conducted only in day time because of covid 19 pandemic.

Ancy miss the camp coordinator welcomed everyone to this year's community living camp. Sri Sunil Kumar ,Assistant professor M.G college lighted the lamp.

After freshment the afternoon session was handled by Sri Subin Antony a former student of MTTC . The ice breaking session was the best way to start off the camp . All of us enjoyed the class . Sir inspired us all to become a better and meaningful teacher.
