Fresher's day : Glucose

 

Today was a special day for mttc. During this pandemic situation we celebrate our fresher's day. Our seniors welcomed us by conducting a super fresher's day" Glucose".

Chief guest of this programme was RJ Unni who is a radio Jockey and youtuber. Union member gave the presidential address and RJ Unni inaugurate the programme and he shared his college life experience and school life experience. He discussed the importance of a techer and his talk was super.

And principal gave him a momentum. It was honour to him

After this session seniors prepared a wonderful programme for us and it was named as" chakkapazham". They gave a small task for us and all the juniors did their task it was nice programme.

The programme was awesome. After the programme there was a flashmob by some of our friends for introducing our new union.

65th union name is " NISARGA". The powerful storm that lead our mttc.

Faith chased out all fears

 

A new day began with prayer. This day was very special. Today we celebrate international women's day. women's cell in mttc organised a program for women's day. The programme was in afternoon session. 

First class by Dr Gibi ma'am. Ma'am recollect the previous knowledge by questioning method. After that ma'am studied about personality and taught about um um therapy that was so nice. We enjoyed the class. Next session for presenting the report of induction orally by the different groups who visited the different schools. All leaders presenting the oral report very well. 

After that the oath taking ceremony of 65 th union members. Gibi ma'am gave instructions to the members and principal said the pledge and chairman Subin follow it. After the oath taking of Subin, he said the pledge and the others follow it. And Nikhil gave a vote of thanks.

After the lunch break our program started. Women's cell in mttc organised the programme. President of women's cell delivered the welcome speech and  introduce "self defence team in Kerala police and they gave a wonderful speech for us and they said non response is the  main reason for abusing women. And they give some basic defence mechanism for us. And we practice it.  The programme was excellent and thanks to women's cell in mttc

Last day of Induction

The last day of school induction. Last and second day of Induction. Morning 9.30 we reached the school and signs the attendance sheet. And we go through the school collect data from the authorities. We got a diary but it was old diary. But we got many information from that.  We saw the optional teachers for thier videos and saw thier classess. Teachers have a helping mentality they have good personality. There was a class for the weakest students . Teachers are very helpful to them. 

After that we go through the school functioning. Teachers help us to collecting data and corporate with us.

We got some pictures with subject teachers and they answered our some humble questions. 

After that we go to our assigned class and having our lunch and there was some funny moments again we take some selfie with friends

Today school conducted a PTA meeting so we leaves school early and we get a feedback from headmistress. And we gave thanks to all teachers and non teachers.

First day of school induction

Our school induction started. First day of Induction was really nostalgic. After along time we went to school and got a special feelings from that we are teacher students but in school still we are students because we got 10 B for our resting. We got a school atmosphere. It was really nice. 

Morning 9.30 we reached school and headmistress Rani M Alex welcomed us and we sign attendance sheet and we allotted a class for rest. 

We visit school around and understood infrastructure of the school.  We took many photos and got a copy of magazine. And collect data from that. The we visit the library, labs. School have may open space for children to play.  Every where covid protocol students are obey that rules. 

Nikhil and priyanka in take an interview with headmistress. 

After the interview we go to our assigned class for having lunch. After lunch time we got some funny moments with friends. 3.30 pm we ready to go back to our home.

65th union election

 

Today is most powerful day. The college authority decided to do the election ceremony. Election is the most important in democracy also our college is democratic. So authority decided to do that. Election was held at afternoon. 

Our first class was taken by Dr Gibi ma'am. Ma'am studied about characteristics of personality. "BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED". Second class was taken by Dr Maya ma'am. Ma'am taught about Humanism. Humanism : Man is the maker of his own destiny and therefore as you to become maker of your own destiny.

Next hour was optional. That period we continue our micro teaching section. Today Emily, Sruthi, Aleena and Josena took their micro teaching skill. All are taught well. And our Deepthi ma'am announced those who are interested in election process please come forward. Aleena , Sajin ,and Aby was selected from our class and they represent our whole class. And ma'am told about school induction. Our school induction is starting the next day. I get st. John's hss nalanchira. 

Next class by Joju sir. Sir discussed about practicum and taught about teaching aids. Next section was the election process and finally announced the result. That is 65 th union was selected. So there was a special assembly for the announcement of new union executives. 

This is our new union members and all the best 😊 to them. We got 22 powerful leaders we are very happy with them.

Online class

 

After a long time we are again in online classes. Because of a strike. 

Morning 8.30 joju sir started the online class sir discussed about practicum. Before that sir discussed the important values of B.ed. not only for marks we must study B.ed for the future generations. And we are the guidelines of the students. We have to change the life of our students positively. After that sir took the practicum class 

After that Gibi ma'am took the class. ma'am discussed about personality. Personality derived from a Latin word personae which means" through sound". And ma'am told a new thing" do it now". We must do our work or anything as fast as possible. Many things that shows our personality that are smile, body language, eye contact, the way of communication,etc.....

11.30 to 12.45 there was optional class. In optional class our friends did their seminar presentation and assignment presentation. First Josena took her assignment about Euclidean geometry and non Euclidean geometry. She did well. After that Neema took her seminar topic values of mathematics she done ✅

Finally Archana took her seminar topic on supervised study. she did well.

Micro Teaching

A new month started.

Today our micro teaching section started. A teacher takes a hand opens a mind and touches a heart ♥️.

Deepthi ma'am came at 9.30 and we started our first micro teaching skill. All the student teacher prepare their lesson plan for their skill.

10. Skill of Closure :- Kavya

I did skill of black board. After that ma'am gave some feedback to improve that skill for me and others and all my friends did well. Everyone understood the micro teaching skill. Next section we will improve our skill. We get our video of micro teaching section. All did well.

Next class by principal sir. He continued the class of micro teaching. 

He dealt with skill of stimulus variation and skill of questioning. Types of Questioning Lower,Middle and Higher order. Closed and Open Questions,Developmental and Evaluative , and Bloom's Taxonomy and revised Bloom's Taxonomy. And discuss about Socratic dialogue.

After the class we continue our micro teaching section some student teacher had left to do that so they did their micro teaching skill. They do well.
